This documentary film portrays the last days of my grandmother’s life, her survival during the Second World War, and what role the maintenance of her beauty played in her spiritual well being. Do we overestimate women’s physical beauty today? Are older women marginalized and neglected by society? These themes are dealt with in a film about the meaning of beauty, death, and immortality.
